Yacht types / GP class yacht

ORC Club www.orc.org worked out new classes of yachts: GP-26, GP-33, GP-42; for races Grand Prix with the measurement rules ORC LEVEL RULE. It will be a new formula of measurement yachts for sailing races since 2007 year.

ORC Club pursued to create yachts with limited characteristics of measurement, for holding competitions due to class system and definition the result due to yachts’ finishes. ORC LEVEL RULES, which are strictly observed during all the period of design and construction, guaranteed firm boat’s construction, the boats are easy controlled, safe and are ready for sailing during long time, and easy for transporting on trailers, because yachts’ dimensions satisfy to road rules.

Main characteristics of yachts GP ORC Level Rule – light weight, easy rigging with jibs no more 110%, big sail area, which help to boat to look good and have a big speed.

        GP-26 yachts fully satisfy the “Open 800”  www.open800.ru rules. Next regattas will be holding in Russia: Cup of Russia 2008 – 5 levels, Bank Cup.
