Now our yachtsman – Lisovenko Igor – is preparing for Olympic Games in China and taking part in the World Championship ISAF in Australia, trying to get the license for entering the Olympic.

Others in the running to qualify their nations at the Worlds being held off Terrigal in Australia are in the Silver Fleet and include; Andreas Geritzer (AUT), Raul Aguayo (DOM), Juan Maegli (GUA), Gyorgy Fazakas and Zsombor Berecz (HUN), Anthony Craig and Ryan Seaton (IRL), Hisaki Nagai, Yoichi Iijima and Yoshihiro Okinishi (JPN), Kevin Lim (MAS), Igor Lisovenko and Maxim Semerkhanov (RUS), Leong Seng Koh (SIN) and Christoph Bottoni and Max Bulley (SUI).
This is the final opportunity for nations to qualify for Beijing. The best nine unqualified nations at the end of the Laser World's will gain the final places.

Lisovenko Igor and Rozhkov Denis will take part in Euro Laser Standard & Radial Senior Male / Female Championship, which will be in Nieuwpoort, Belgium, 12 - 19.07.2008.

Russian Olympic sailing team, in what Igor Lisovenko is participant in class “Laser Standard”, went for Beijing. Sailing Olympic regatta will begin 11th of August, now the sportsmen are acclimatized and are training.

There were only 9 races, not 10 races, in class “Laser”, because the wind was weak and changeable. The last 3 races were hold on the 18th of August. Our yachtsman Igor Lisovenko took 11th place of 43 participants in class “Laser” in Qingdao. He was leak of 1 point only for taking part in Medal Race, where 10 best yachtsmen participate in.

Now our yachtsmen: Rozhkov Denis, Lisovenko Igor and Serezhkin Victor – are preparing for the Russian Championship. They went for the “The open championship of Ukraine”, which be held in Sevastopol, 2-7 of October.

Rozhkov Denis took the 3d place and Serezhkin Victor took the 5th place / 30 in the Open Championship of Ukraine.

The yachtsmen: Rozhkov Denis, Lisovenko Igor and Serezhkin Victor went for Sochi for the Russian Championship, which will be held 25.10 – 02.11.2008.

On the last Russian Championship and Primacy of Russia Lisovenko Igor took the 1st place, Serezhkin Victor took 3d and 2d places accordingly.
